May 13, 2005

DARKANE guitarist Christofer Malmström has posted the following message on his official web site:

"Next Wednesday [May 18] I will perform a song called 'Water' on the guitar at Dunkers Kulturhus in Helsingborg [Sweden]. The event is about composers from Helsingborg and I am one of many others who will participate. There will be a lot of different styles this evening. I will play the guitar to pre-programmed music on a CD. The song will also appear on my solo album NON-HUMAN LEVEL, which is being recorded at the time. If you are interested in the event be there at 19:30 (7:30 pm). The entrence fee is 100 SEK."

As previously reported, Nuclear Blast Records has set a July 12 North American release date for the new DARKANE album, entitled "Layers of Lies". The CD will be released in Europe on June 27.

The Japanese version of the CD will contain a bonus track, entitled "Subliminal Seduction".

DARKANE's last studio album, "Expanding Senses", was released in 2002.
